The latest opening adds to Tesla’s existing network of experience centres in Bengaluru, Mumbai, Delhi and Gurugram as the US electric vehicle maker expands its presence in India.Tesla has expanded its retail footprint in India with the opening of a new experience centre in Hyderabad’s HITEC City, marking its fifth such facility in the country. The company has also commenced delivery and after-sales services in Telangana through a facility in the Bollaram Industrial Area.
The Hyderabad centre will showcase Tesla’s 2026 Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive and Model Y L electric SUVs, with customer experiences beginning from June 17. Visitors can explore the vehicles through guided walkarounds and interactive product demonstrations.

Model Y variants introduced
Tesla said deliveries of the Model Y Premium Rear-Wheel Drive will begin in July 2026. The model is priced at ₹50.89 lakh and offers a WLTP-certified range of up to 500 km. It can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and provides storage space of up to 2,138 litres. Financing plans include a down payment of ₹6 lakh and monthly EMIs starting from ₹39,990.
The Model Y L, a three-row six-seat all-wheel-drive SUV, is priced from ₹61.99 lakh. The vehicle offers a WLTP range of up to 681 km, accelerates from 0-100 km/h in 5 seconds and has cargo capacity of up to 2,539 litres. Tesla said financing options include a down payment of ₹6.5 lakh and EMIs starting from ₹49,990.
Both models have received safety ratings from agencies including NHTSA and IIHS in the US, Euro NCAP in Europe, ANCAP in Australia and New Zealand, and C-IASI in China, according to the company.
Tesla said both vehicles are available for ordering through its website and that home charging support is available across India. Customers placing orders before June 30, 2026, will receive a complimentary Wall Connector, the company added.
