Headmaster held for sexual assault

Headmaster held for sexual assault

A 56-year-old govt school headmaster in Tamil Nadu’s Tirupattur district was suspended and arrested on charges of sexually assaulting a class 5 student, just a fortnight after his suspension on similar charges was revoked. Police said K Bharath Ambedkar reached school in an inebriated condition. He asked the girl to sit on his lap and assaulted her. A few villagers, who visited the school, filmed the act and lodged a complaint with the district education office, Malaivasan, who again placed Ambedkar under suspension.
