Veteran star Ranjeet recently looked back on some of his fond memories in Bollywood, one of which included fellow star Bindu pulling on his ears. This happened after Bindu, during a recent interview, opened up about the kind of person Ranjeet was.

Ranjeet replies to Bindu’s comment about him being innocent

While in conversation with Vickey Lalwani, Bindu opened up about her long-running career and how things have been for her. During one of the segments of the episode, she had talked about working with Ranjeet and had called him an “innocent and jovial” person.In reply to her message, the veteran star, known for his work in ‘Sharmeelee’, ‘Namak Halaal’, and ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’, shared a video message about the time she pulled on his ear. In the video, he stated, “Ms Bindu, how did you know that I was innocent? Thank you so much for praising me. It felt wonderful and brought back so many old memories. I also remembered that I have a photograph in which you’re pulling my ears. If I was so innocent, then why were you pulling my ears? I still don’t understand. Please call me and tell me.” Bindu and Ranjeet are some of the most celebrated actors in the Indian film industry. Having been part of the industry for more than five decades, the two have remained close friends and worked together in many productions, including ‘Naseeb’, ‘Laawaris’, and ‘Prem Rog’.

About Ranjeet and Bindu

Ranjeet, whose real name is Gopal Bedi, is a veteran star active in the industry since the 1970s and prominently rose to fame for his villainous roles in various films. The 84-year-old star continues to be an active force in the industry, last appearing in ‘Housefull 4’ and ‘Housefull 5’ in 2019 and 2025, respectively. He has also appeared in Bhojpuri, Malayalam, and Punjabi cinema over the years.85-year-old legend Bindu Nanubhai Desai started her career around the same time as Ranjeet. Over the years, she appeared in many films, which included ‘Abhimaan’, ‘Kati Patang’, ‘Amar Prem’, ‘Do Raaste’, and others. She has not been active in the film industry since 2008, and her last appearances were in ‘Om Shanti Om’ and ‘Mehbooba.’ Go to Source
