Varun Dhawan’s ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ is currently in its second week at the theatres. The movie, which features Mrunal Thakur and Pooja Hegde as female leads, crossed the Rs 50 crore worldwide mark in its first week. Despite mixed reactions from the audience as well as critics, the comedy drama is slowly heading to achieve another milestone at the box office.

On Day 8, the David Dhawan directorial showcased a drop of 28.8% in collection from its previous day’s earnings. According to the Sacnilk report, the film collected a net of Rs 1.85 crore across 3,140 shows on Day 8.With that, the total India net collection has reached Rs 38.70 crore, while the total India gross earnings are Rs 45.96 crore. Overseas, the film collected Rs 0.75 crore on Day 8, taking its total overseas gross to Rs 12.60 crore. This pushed the worldwide gross collection to Rs 58.56 crore.
