‘Bandar’ fame Jeetendra Joshi says ‘watching Bobby Deol in the film is unforgettable’

'Bandar' co-star Jeetendra Joshi admits 'watching Bobby Deol in this Anurag Kashyap's directorial is unforgettable'- Exclusive

It has been a remarkable year for versatile actor Jeetendra Joshi, one of the most prominent names in Marathi cinema today. After impressing audiences with his performances in projects such as ‘Sacred Games’ and Riteish Deshmukh’s ‘Raja Shivaji’, the actor is once again making waves on the big screen with Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Bandar’. Jeetendra was recently seen in films such as ‘Kranti Jyoti Savitribai Phule’ and ‘Raja Shivaji’, and is currently garnering praise for his role in ‘Bandar’, which released alongside his Marathi film ‘Tumbadchi Manjula’ last week. The grounded actor is overwhelmed by the response he has received for both films. While he is thrilled about being a part of Anurag Kashyap’s much-talked-about ‘Bandar’, he is equally appreciative of his ‘Tumbadchi Manjula’ co-star Sai Tamhankar, with whom he shared a warm on-screen camaraderie.

Jeetendra Joshi praises ‘Tumbadchi Manjula’ co-star Sai Tamhankar

Speaking about Sai, Jeetendra said, “She is a very good actor. She speaks through her eyes, and I feel that becomes a bit challenging when you’re working with her. It’s challenging in a good way for an actor because she conveys so much without saying anything. So, I tried to match her intensity. The chemistry happens naturally when there are two good actors working together. They know how to give each other space and make each other’s work better. That’s why they keep pushing themselves and working hard. There is no other reason behind it. I enjoy working with good actors a lot. The same thing happened while working with Sai in ‘Tumbadchi Manjula’.”

Jeetendra Joshi has glowing words for his ‘Bandar’ co-star Bobby Deol

“When you watch ‘Bandar’, you will not forget Bobby Deol or me. watching him the film is unforgettable. It’s a must-watch film because the kind of acting Bobby Deol has done is unbelievable. It is Anurag Kashyap at his very best. The film should be watched in theatres,” Jeetendra admited.Interestingly, audiences have been appreciating the actor in two completely contrasting roles that released almost simultaneously.”In ‘Tumbadchi Manjula’, I play a simple, lovable man who tries to keep peace among everyone around him. In ‘Bandar’, I play a corrupt and ruthless police officer. I received appreciation for both performances. And now, within a month, I am coming back with ‘Mardini’,” Jeetendra shared.

Jeetu Joshi reveals biggest misconception people have about him

Jeetendra Joshi, who has steadily expanded his presence beyond Marathi cinema and made a mark in Bollywood as well, also opened up about one of the biggest misconceptions people in the industry have about him.Speaking candidly, the actor said, “There is this misconception that because I have done Bollywood films, I must be earning a lot of money. That’s not true at all,” he concluded. Go to Source
