The trailer of ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ was unveiled on Thursday, offering fans a glimpse into the madness, mayhem and comedy that await in the latest chapter of the popular franchise. While the event was largely filled with laughter and excitement, it also featured an emotional moment as Akshay Kumar paid tribute to late actor Pankaj Dheer, whose final screen appearance will be in the film.During the trailer launch, Akshay took a moment to remember his longtime friend and colleague, recalling how their professional journey began together more than three decades ago. The actor revealed that Pankaj Dheer was part of his very first film and played the antagonist opposite him.“Main aapko yeh batana chahta hoon. I want to also mention about a very dear friend of mine in this film, Pankaj Dheer Sahab, joh meri pehli film mein the mere saath. Mere pehli film mein woh villain the mere saath, and jaise ki aap sab jaante hain, yeh unki aakhri film thi. I just want to mention about him. I love you Pankaj, wherever you are. (I want to tell all of you something. I would also like to mention a very dear friend of mine who is a part of this film, Pankaj Dheer Sahab. He was with me in my very first film. In that film, he played the villain opposite me. And as all of you know, this is his last film. I just want to mention him today. I love you, Pankaj, wherever you are),” he said at the event.The heartfelt tribute resonated with those present, especially given the bond the two actors shared over the years. Akshay and Pankaj Dheer first worked together in Saugandh (1991), which marked Akshay Kumar’s debut as a leading man in Hindi cinema.Beyond the emotional moment, the trailer promises a grand entertainer packed with action, adventure and comedy. Set against the backdrop of a jungle, the film follows a series of bizarre situations, misunderstandings and chaotic encounters that bring together an ensemble cast.Leading the star-studded lineup is Akshay Kumar, alongside Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Jackie Shroff, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Johny Lever, Rajpal Yadav, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Krushna Abhishek and Kiku Sharda.The film also features veteran actors Farida Jalal, Sudesh Berry, Puneet Issar and the late Pankaj Dheer, making Welcome To The Jungle a special project that celebrates both comedy and the legacy of a beloved actor.
