Raveena changed inside generator van on set? Akshay spills the story

Raveena Tandon changed inside generator van on 'Welcome To The Jungle' set? Akshay Kumar spills the story

Akshay Kumar praised Raveena Tandon’s professionalism at the ‘Welcome To The Jungle’ trailer launch, recalling how she changed inside a generator van to save a sunset shot. The film features over 30 actors, is directed by Ahmed Khan, produced by Firoz Nadiadwala, and releases on June 24.

Akshay Kumar is bringing the laughs with ‘Welcome To The Jungle’, and the trailer dropped on Thursday, June 11, is already generating massive excitement. At the launch event, Akshay had nothing but praise for his co-stars, particularly Raveena Tandon, whom he commended for her exceptional professionalism and dedication during tough shoots. He also recalled a memorable incident where she put aside her comfort to keep the filming on schedule.

Raveena changed in a generator van to save a sunset shot

The actor praised Raveena and shared a story from one of their film shoots. The team had only 25-30 minutes left to shoot a sunset scene. The green room was very far from the set, so Raveena decided to change her clothes inside a generator van to save time. Because of this, the shoot was completed on time without any delay. “That has been her. A lot of changes have happened; she is a brilliant actor,” added the actor.

Akshay jokes about Raveena’s journey from heroine to heroine’s mother

When asked about what has changed and what has stayed the same over the years, Akshay laughed and said that while a lot has evolved, one thing that never changed is Raveena’s professionalism. He then cracked a light-hearted joke, pointing out that she went from being the heroine on screen to being the mother of a heroine, Rasha Thadani, leaving everyone in the room laughing.

‘Welcome To The Jungle’ boasts one of Bollywood’s biggest ensemble casts

The launch event saw a huge turnout with several cast members in attendance, including Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Arshad Warsi, Shreyas Talpade, Krushna Abhishek, Johnny Lever, and many more. Welcome To The Jungle is one of the biggest ensemble films Bollywood has ever seen, bringing together more than 30 actors under one roof. The film’s impressive cast includes Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Paresh Rawal, Lara Dutta, Rajpal Yadav, Tusshar Kapoor, Kiku Sharda, Farida Jalal, Urvashi Rautela, Zakir Hussain, Yashpal Sharma, Mukesh Tiwari, and Aftab Shivdasani, among others. The film is helmed by Ahmed Khan and produced by Firoz Nadiadwala.

‘Welcome To The Jungle’ to release on June 24

‘Welcome To The Jungle’ is all set to hit the big screens on June 24. Going by its recently released trailer, the story revolves around a struggling actor who gets an opportunity to be a part of a big-budget film that is being shot in a remote village. Things take a hilarious turn when the villagers of that area mistake the entire film crew for actual soldiers, setting off a chain of funny mix-ups and chaotic confusion that keeps the audience entertained throughout.
