Salman Khan’s legal team files case against Kala Hiran

Salman Khan's legal team files case against 'Kala Hiran', demands film be pulled

Salman Khan’s legal team has sent a notice to the makers of ‘Kala Hiran’, a film based on the blackbuck poaching case, demanding they halt its release and remove all promotional material, warning of further legal action if their demands are not met.

Shortly after unveiling ‘Kala Hiran’, a film inspired by the blackbuck poaching case linked to Salman Khan, his legal representatives have stepped in, sending a formal notice to the filmmakers demanding they put the brakes on its release. The move has stirred up a fresh round of controversy surrounding the project, officially titled ‘Kala Hiran: The Battle for Legacy’, with Khan’s legal team allegedly targeting those connected to the film with legal action.

Salman Khan’s lawyers send formal notice to ‘Kala Hiran’ filmmakers

According to IANS, the notice reportedly instructs the filmmakers to immediately halt the movie’s release and remove all promotional content from posters and other publicity materials. It further warns that failure to comply with these demands could lead to additional legal proceedings against those involved with the project.

‘Kala Hiran’ future hangs in balance amid legal battle

Helmed by Bharat S. Shrinet, the film comes from a filmmaker known for championing contentious subjects, Jani previously backed projects tackling sensitive topics such as the Kanhaiya Lal murder case, which depicted the brutal killing of the tailor by the same name. With the legal battle now looming large, the road ahead for ‘Kala Hiran’ appears increasingly uncertain.

‘Kala Hiran’ teaser set for June 20 release

The makers describe the film as drawing inspiration from real-life legal battles and high-octane incidents, presented with a grand, Hollywood-esque production style. The recently unveiled poster offers a glimpse of the lead character in a fierce and enigmatic avatar, set against a bold red-and-blue backdrop that teases a gripping action-thriller narrative. The film’s teaser is slated to drop on June 20. The announcement that Salman Khan’s blackbuck poaching case would be adapted for the big screen was first made public on May 29.

‘Kala Hiran’ to show Salman-Bishnoi rivalry on screen

The film mixes courtroom drama with crime thriller elements, and will show the famous rivalry between Salman Khan and dangerous gangster Lawrence Bishnoi on screen. The movie was filmed across various cities in Uttar Pradesh, including Sambhal and Moradabad. Go to Source
