‘Good box office is related to the next film’ says Ram Charan; shares why collections matter ahead of ‘Peddi’

Although box office numbers are not the only big aspect which defines a big actor it can also help the artist experiment in their upcoming projects feels Tollywood Ram Charan as he is gearing up for his sports drama movie ‘Peddi’. Recently the ‘RRR’ star shared his take on box office collections.

Ram Charan’s opinion on box office numbers

While speaking with ANI, Ram Charna shared that indeed box office numbers are related to the next project an actor might be taking, but also mentioned that it is not the only criterion to become successful. He said, “Good box office is related to the next film. You have the scope to experiment more. So numbers (box office) are important, but it’s not the only thing.” After the global success of SS Rajamouli’s ‘RRR’, Ram Charan has become one of the biggest stars in the country. His leading project after the film was 2025 film, ‘Game Changer’ directed by Shankar. The film was released with high anticipation but turned out to be a disappointment among the audience which ultimately resulted in a poor box office run. Now fans are eagerly awaiting to see what ‘Peddi’ brings to the big screens as Ram Charan seems to be highly confident with the film.

Ram Charan talks about ‘Peddi’

Earlier in an interaction with PTI, Ram Charan called the film one of the most challenging scripts he has done and said, “It’s one of the most challenging scripts I’ve ever heard. He has written it so beautifully. It’s a drama and it’s very inspiring, very uplifting towards the end.” He also heaped praise for the director Buchi Babu Sana for his work and dedication.

About ‘Peddi’

Speaking of ‘Pedd’ has worked really hard for the film, he is seen as a gifted athlete or what the makers call him the “crossover athlete” who is astute in playing cricket, wrestling and spiriting.The film includes Janhvi Kapoor, Divyenndu, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Ravi Kishan, Boman Irani and others. It will be released on June 4.
