Meghan Markle takes publicity into her hands

Meghan Markle takes publicity into her hands following her 8th anniversary celebration on Instagram

Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, has garnered multiple headlines surrounding her family and her decision to Brexit her way out of the royal palace. After clearing her way from tabloids and magazine pages, the actress has decided to take publicity into her own hands. From the 44-year-old’s Instagram updates about her family to being in charge of business plans and endorsements, it shall all be in terms of Meghan Markle. Here’s a closer look at Meghan Markle’s decision to be independent of a representative.

Meghan Markle walks on her terms

Markle shared a series of adorable pictures of her wedding day with Prince Harry for her eighth anniversary on Instagram, casually showing off the love between the couple. However, many fans discussed how the actress reclaimed her royal status after suppressing the British side for a little less than a decade. Despite the headlines gazing at the alleged problems between the family, she decided to embrace it for a day. The experts believe it’s Meghan Markle taking her publicity into her hands.“I suppose this is another example of Meghan taking control of her own publicity, and there’s nothing wrong with that,” reported The Mirror, before adding, “On the wedding day itself, no one was allowed to take pictures and the reception was wrapped in secrecy. That’s obviously how they felt at the time, but eight years on, things have changed.” Now that Meghan Markle has welcomed social media with open arms, the experts state that this will help her to create the image. “And there’s no doubt that people are interested – she has millions of followers on her social media, and that all feeds into her business plans and her brand.”

Is there a rift between the royal family?

While Meghan Markle shared the pictures of her wedding day, there were no images of any royal member. The royal expert believes that the decision was taken out of privacy concerns, and not because there is any necessary rift. “I don’t think we should draw any conclusions about the state of their relationship from the fact that they are not included in the pictures,” according to the outlet. Markle even refrains from sharing pictures of her children on social media.
