‘Bhaiyya still has no idea’: Bobby REVEALS about his 1st jeans

'Bhaiyya still has no idea': Bobby Deol REVEALS his first-ever jeans belonged to Sunny Deol

Bobby Deol just gave his fans a peek behind the curtain of the famous Deol household, and it is equal parts funny and relatable. In a candid confession on a popular chat show, Bobby admitted that the very first pair of jeans he ever owned was quietly borrowed, without permission, from elder brother Sunny Deol’s wardrobe. And the best part? Sunny still has no idea.

Bobby Deol confesses he stole Sunny Deol’s jeans in college

Bobby Deol made the revelation during the ‘Confession Room’ segment on ‘Shekhar Tonite’, hosted by veteran actor Shekhar Suman. Recalling the incident from his college days, Bobby explained that a particular branded pair of Sunny’s jeans had caught his eye, and after a patient month of watching it sit unused under a pile of clothes, he made his move.”Ek jeans padi thi. Ek mahine baad bhi woh 20 jeans ke neeche hi padi hui thi. Maine socha chupke se nikaal leta hoon, kisi ko pata bhi nahi chalega (There was this one pair of jeans lying there. Even after a month, it was still buried under 20 other pairs. I thought I’d quietly take it out; no one would even notice),” Bobby said with a laugh. He then revealed, “Maine chupke se nikaal li aur aaj tak mere bhai ko nahi pata. Meri pehli jeans maine apne bhai se chori ki thi (I secretly took it out, and to this day my brother still doesn’t know. The first pair of jeans I ever owned was stolen from my brother).”

Why Bobby Deol raided Sunny Deol’s wardrobe

Bobby Deol also gave context to why he felt the need to sneak into his brother’s cupboard in the first place. As a college student with no income, shopping simply was not on the cards for him. He explained, “Main apne bhai ki cupboard check karta tha kyunki woh bahut shopping karte the. Us waqt main college mein tha aur kaam nahi karta tha, toh mere liye shopping nahi hoti thi. Unke paas bahut saari jeans padi rehti thi (I used to check my brother’s cupboard because he shopped a lot. Back then, I was in college and wasn’t working, so I didn’t really get to shop for myself. He had a huge collection of jeans lying around).”Host Shekhar Suman could barely contain himself, reacting with, “Fantastic! Amazing!”

Bobby Deol’s projects

On the work front, Bobby Deol is all geared up for the release of his upcoming film ‘Bandar’, directed by Anurag Kashyap. The movie is set to hit theatres on June 5, 2026.
