At an air show in Idaho, USA, a serious accident occurred when two EA-18G Growler fighter jets collided mid-air during a formation flying demonstration at Mountain Home Air Force Base. The jets were performing aerobatic maneuvers intended to entertain spectators when they struck each other in the air. The collision resulted in a sudden explosion, followed by both aircraft losing control and crashing to the ground. Upon impact, a massive fireball and thick black smoke were seen rising from the crash site, causing panic among attendees. Fortunately, all four pilots aboard the two jets acted quickly and successfully ejected from their aircraft before the crash. Parachutes were deployed, and the pilots were seen descending safely to the ground. Emergency response teams were alerted immediately. While the aircraft were destroyed in the incident, no pilot fatalities were reported.
