Heavy rain triggered a massive landslide near the Nathpa Dam in Kinnaur in Himachal Pradesh. A video of the disaster shared by PTI shows the horrific moments when the landslide occurred.

The landslide reportedly stretched nearly 200 metres and as many as five people were present at the spot when the incident occurred. No injuries have been reported, and all five people are safe.

A large section of the hill gave way, with video footage showing debris tumbling down its slope.

Heavy rain has lashed parts of Himachal, causing severe damage to lives and properties across the state. Even on Friday, September 5, a landslide was reported in the Akhara Bazaar of Kullu.
