Bihar Crime Surge: RJD MLA Brother’s Gold Chain Snatched in Patna

A major crime incident has been reported from Patna, Bihar, raising serious questions about law and order in the state. The brother of RJD MLA Rahul Kumar, Rohit Kumar, was targeted by bike-borne miscreants during a morning walk in Kankarbagh. The criminals snatched his gold chain and escaped, with the entire incident captured on CCTV footage. This comes shortly after another serious crime in Patna, where a businessman was allegedly shot dead during a blackout mock drill, reportedly using a silencer-fitted weapon. Police have not yet made any arrests in either case. The back-to-back incidents have sparked concern over rising criminal activity in the state capital. Opposition voices and the public are questioning the effectiveness of policing and governance, as criminals appear increasingly fearless. Police investigations are ongoing, but no breakthroughs have been reported so far.
