The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially announced the revised date for the NEET re-examination. The exam, which was earlier conducted on May 3 and later cancelled due to a paper leak, will now be held again on June 21, 2026 (Sunday). This announcement has brought relief to nearly 23 lakh students who were awaiting a fresh schedule. The decision follows a high-level review meeting held at the residence of Dharmendra Pradhan, where senior officials from NTA, CBSE, and other education bodies discussed exam security and preparations. Authorities have emphasized strict measures to prevent any further irregularities. Students will not need to re-register, and their exam centres are expected to remain unchanged, though updated admit cards will be issued with the new date.
