In a social media post shared by the production studios, the makers teased the beginning of a new era for Spider-Man.In the poster, Peter Parker, played by Tom Holland, is shown from the nose down to the waist. He is seen wearing the iconic Spider-Man suit with a jacket layered over it, hinting at a fresh phase in the superhero’s journey. Fans quickly flooded social media with reactions as excitement surrounding the film continues to build.This marks Holland’s fourth standalone outing as Spider-Man and is expected to explore the character in a completely new light.

What is the premise of ‘Spider-Man: Brand New Day’?

The upcoming film from the Marvel Cinematic Universe is set four years after the events of Spider-Man: No Way Home. By the end of the previous film, Peter Parker, with the help of Doctor Strange, erased himself from everyone’s memory in order to protect the people he loved. Now, four years later, Peter continues to fight crime as Spider-Man while living an isolated life, as nobody remembers who he truly is. Despite continuing his mission to protect the city, he has to deal with everything on his own. He also struggles with seeing his old school friends, who no longer recognise him, while facing entirely new threats and villains.With no financial support or resources, Peter reportedly creates his own suit and web shooters. However, things slowly begin spiralling out of control as he starts losing grip over himself. The teaser trailer even hints at a mysterious moment where he wakes up hanging upside down in webs in the middle of nowhere.
