NEW DELHI: Congress Friday demanded dissolution of the Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust over the donation theft row and sought a SC-monitored probe. It demanded that PM Narendra Modi break his silence on the issue.”Mr PM, when there has been a betrayal of Lord Ram and public’s trust has been breached, what hesitation or arrogance is there in accepting it?” Congress’ Jairam Ramesh asked on X, adding, “There is anger and outrage across country against the theft of donations that took place under the leadership of people from the RSS ecosystem chosen by your govt. What you have done was a grave sin indeed, but your silence on this extremely important matter now is a bigger sin.”The party added that “clean chit” given by RSS members in the matter was “disgraceful and shameful”.
