Kim Mathers pleads no contest to two charges in DUI arrest

After getting arrested in February, an official hearing regarding Mather’s case was held in Michigan on Monday. TMZ reported that as per the proceedings, Eminem’s ex-wife has taken a plea deal in the case. She pleaded no contest to two counts, which included operating while impaired and failing to report an accident. Now, she is awaiting the next trial hearing, which has been scheduled for June. Here she will be served her official sentence.The report also revealed that when the officers, who had been called by the other person whose car was hit, had talked to Mathers at her home. At the time, she had appeared with “glossy eyes, slurred/slowed speech and lethargic demeanor.”

What had happened with Kim Mathers?

In February, earlier this year, the star had been arrested for hitting another vehicle, while also crashing her car into the garage door at her home, all the while, when her children were inside. In the official report, Mathers shared with the police that she had drunk two alcoholic margaritas at a nearby restaurant before getting in the car.At the time of the incident, there were children in the car with her.
