New Delhi: Škoda Auto India on Monday introduced updates to its second-generation Kodiaq for 2026, strengthening its flagship SUV portfolio with sharper differentiation across its Lounge, Sportline and Selection L&K variants.
The refreshed Kodiaq range follows the launch of the updated Kushaq and comes as the company looks to sustain product momentum after what it termed its biggest year in 2025 and a record first quarter in 2026.
“After our biggest year in 2025 and a record-breaking first quarter in 2026, we are updating our flagship Kodiaq to further elevate its appeal. With the 2026 enhancements, our aim is simple – there is now a Kodiaq for every luxury 4×4 aspiration,” said Ashish Gupta, Brand Director, Škoda Auto India.
The Kodiaq Lounge variant is positioned as the more accessible offering and is configured as a five-seater with a standard 786-litre boot. It retains the 2.0 TSI engine, seven-speed DSG transmission and 4×4 capability, while offering features such as three-zone climate control, panoramic sunroof, additional acoustic insulation and Suedia fabric upholstery.
The Kodiaq Sportline gets a key upgrade for 2026 with the addition of a full suite of advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS), including adaptive cruise control, lane assist, blind spot detection, rear traffic alert and exit warning. Features like the 360-degree camera, intelligent park assist and illuminated grille strip have also been extended to the Sportline trim.
The Selection L&K variant, positioned as the top-end luxury offering, has also been updated with the ADAS package. It continues to offer Cognac leather upholstery, front Ergo seats with massage and ventilation functions, and Laurin & Klement badging.
The updated Kodiaq continues with the 2.0 TSI petrol engine producing 150 kW and 320 Nm, paired with a seven-speed DSG automatic transmission. The SUV is assembled at Škoda Auto India’s facility in Chhatrapati Sambhaji Nagar.
