Lexus India has opened bookings for the all-new ES 350h, the eighth-generation self-charging hybrid luxury sedan that will be manufactured in India, expanding the company’s locally assembled premium vehicle portfolio.

Priced at ₹66.10 lakh for the Exquisite variant and ₹71.80 lakh for the Luxury trim (ex-showroom), the ES 350h will be available through Lexus Guest Experience Centres across the country.

The new ES is the first model in Lexus’ next-generation electrified lineup and will be offered globally with both hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) and battery electric vehicle (BEV) powertrains, reflecting the company’s multi-pathway electrification strategy.

Locally built hybrid expands ES range

Manufactured in India, the ES 350h adopts Lexus’ new “Provocative Simplicity” design philosophy and features larger dimensions, a longer wheelbase and increased ground clearance to enhance cabin space and passenger comfort.

The sedan is powered by a newly developed 2.5-litre four-cylinder hybrid powertrain paired with a lithium-ion battery and integrated eAxle, aimed at delivering improved fuel efficiency, refinement and performance.

Inside, the ES 350h gets a 14-inch high-definition touchscreen with Lexus’ latest multimedia interface, a fully digital instrument cluster and connected car features, including remote vehicle controls through the Lexus Connected app.

Safety, ownership features

The sedan is equipped with the latest Lexus Safety System+, featuring an enhanced Pre-Collision System, All-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Tracing Assist and a Driver Monitor on the Luxury variant.

Commenting on the launch, Hikaru Ikeuchi, President, Lexus India, said the locally manufactured ES 350h reinforces the company’s long-term commitment to the Indian market while expanding its electrified product portfolio.

Lexus is also offering an 8-year/2,00,000 km warranty on the vehicle and hybrid battery, along with a 5-year roadside assistance package and flexible ownership programmes, including assured buyback options.
