Vijay’s cousin sisters write letter for him: ‘Stronger than ever’

'Stronger than ever, always our Vijay Anna': Vijay's cousin sisters write emotional letter before his swearing-in as Tamil Nadu CM

In a moment that felt as cinematic as any of his blockbusters, Tamil superstar-turned-politician Vijay was sworn in as the chief minister of Tamil Nadu today, and his family’s tears, pride, and joy told the story better than words ever could. From emotional letters to choked-up speeches, his loved ones made their feelings known to the world.

Vijay’s cousin sisters pen a heartfelt letter for ‘Vijay anna’

Vijay’s cousin sisters, Keerthana Sundar and Pallavi Surendar, could not contain their emotions as he crossed the finish line. The two took to Instagram to share an open letter addressed to their elder brother. “You came back Stronger than ever. Sharper in vision. More focused on the people. Not for power. Not for noise. Only for us. Only for Tamil Nadu,” they wrote.

Acknowledging the emotional weight of the moment not just for the family but for an entire state, they added, “A voice that connects. A journey built on trust, strength, and purpose. The comeback isn’t just personal – it’s emotional for millions.”They signed off with warmth and love, “To the man loved by millions but always our Vijay Anna. With endless love. Your sisters – Keethana Surendar & Pallavi Surendar.”

Vijay’s father, SA Chandrasekhar’s, statement

Filmmaker and father SA Chandrasekhar’s reaction was equally moving. In a video shared by ANI, a visibly emotional Chandrasekhar got choked up, saying simply, “I am happy… I am so, so happy.” When asked whether he had once harboured political ambitions of his own, he was quick to dismiss the idea: “No, no, no. I never…Whatever I am doing, only for my son.”On the Tamil people’s role in delivering this victory, he said, “Finally, Tamil people have succeeded…through Vijay.” His parting advice for the new chief minister was equally simple and heartfelt, “Do everything for Tamilians.” He then folded his hands and asked to leave.

Vijay’s final film ‘Jana Nayagan’

Vijay’s final film, ‘Jana Nayagan’, also remains unreleased due to issues with the CBFC. Despite it all, Vijay has arrived, and Tamil Nadu is watching. The movie is now expected to hit theatres in June 2026. Go to Source
