Miami host committee guarantees no ICE presence at 2026 World Cup games: ‘​That’s not the purpose’

Miami’s World Cup organizers have confirmed that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) will not be present at stadiums during matches this summer. Host committee co‑chair Rodney Barreto said he received assurances from Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
