BREAKING: West Bengal Sees Re-Polling at 15 Booths Amid Tight Security

Re-polling is being held today at 15 polling booths in West Bengal following complaints of EVM tampering, clashes, and irregularities during the second phase of the Assembly elections. All 15 booths are located in South 24 Parganas district, including four booths in Diamond Harbour and 11 booths in Magrahat. Voting began at 7:00 AM and will continue until 6:00 PM under heavy security arrangements. Earlier, demands for re-polling were raised at 77 booths after allegations of violence and lack of transparency surfaced. After reviewing the complaints, the Election Commission of India ordered fresh voting at 15 booths. Authorities are aiming to ensure peaceful and fair polling during the re-election process. The fresh voting comes just ahead of the counting day on May 4, when the election results will be announced.
