Akhil Akkineni’s latest action drama ‘Lenin’ continued its steady run at the box office on its first Sunday. Directed by Murali Kishor Abburu, the film recorded higher collections on Day 3.According to early estimates by Sacnilk, ‘Lenin’ earned Rs 9.65 crore nett in India on its third day. The film registered an 11.6 per cent increase over its Day 2 collection of Rs 8.65 crore.The film’s total India nett collection now stands at Rs 25.45 crore.

India collections cross Rs 29 crore gross

The film was screened in 2,324 shows across India on Sunday. Along with its strong Day 3 performance, ‘Lenin’ has taken its India gross collection to Rs 29.27 crore.The film had opened with Rs 7.15 crore nett on Friday before climbing to Rs 8.65 crore on Saturday. The film collected Rs 2 crore gross overseas on Day 3, taking its international total to Rs 7.80 crore. ‘Lenin’s worldwide gross collection has now reached Rs 37.07 crore after its opening weekend.
