Ahead of the vote counting scheduled for May 4 in West Bengal, both the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and All India Trinamool Congress (TMC) have intensified their preparations, raising the political temperature in the state. The BJP is holding a key strategy meeting in Kolkata today, where all its MPs and MLAs are expected to participate. The meeting focuses on final preparations for counting day, including instructions for party workers and coordination among counting agents. On the other hand, TMC is also conducting a virtual meeting led by Mamata Banerjee and Abhishek Banerjee, where discussions will be held with counting agents and party officials. The focus is on ensuring coordination and monitoring during the counting process. With both parties actively strategizing, the atmosphere in Bengal remains highly charged ahead of the final results.
