Nissan attributed the performance to growing customer interest across its portfolio, led by demand for the all-new Nissan Gravite.Nissan Motor India on Friday reported a 75 per cent year-on-year growth in domestic sales for April 2026, selling 3,203 units in the Indian market, signalling a strong start to the new financial year.
According to the official press release, the company’s total sales, including exports, stood at 5,388 units, comprising 2,185 units shipped overseas.
Nissan attributed the performance to growing customer interest across its portfolio, led by demand for the all-new Nissan Gravite, along with continued traction for the new Nissan Magnite in the compact SUV segment.
“We are extremely encouraged by the positive start to the new financial year. The overwhelming customer response to the all-new Nissan Gravite reaffirms our approach of offering products that are aligned with the evolving expectations of the Indian consumers, together with the continued success of the new Nissan Magnite,” said Saurabh Vatsa, Managing Director, Nissan Motor India.
He added that the company is preparing to introduce new products and expand its network footprint within the current financial year.
Nissan said it remains focused on customer-centric innovation, expanding dealer network reach and strengthening coverage across key markets, supported by its product pipeline and efforts to enhance customer experience.
