This romantic comedy that highlights an intercultural love story was the talk of the town from the word go for several reasons; the fresh chemistry of Siddharth and Jahnvi was certainly one of them. ‘Param Sundari’ box office collection day 1

Opening day collection of recent releases from the same genre

‘Saiyaara’ is one of the most successful romantic movies of Bollywood, which saw a business of Rs. 21.5 crore on its opening day. If compared to that, the film saw a slow opening. However, ‘Saiyaara’ is an intense love story that hit the ball out of the park; if we only talk about rom-coms, then ‘Param Sundari’ has performed decently. In May, ‘Bhool Chuk Maaf’ opened with Rs. 7 crore, and recently ‘Son Of Sardaar’ made Rs. 7.25 crore on its opening day.

Param Sundari’s day 1: Occupancy

According to the trade reports, the film had an overall 12.92% on Friday. The morning shows began with an 8.19% occupancy, which rose to 11.45% in the afternoon. There was further growth in the evening shows, with the footfall of 12.27% and the night shows saw 19.77% occupancy.
