Ranbir Kapoor is the most educated member of the Kapoor family?

Ranbir Kapoor is the most educated member of the Kapoor family? The actor once said, 'My mom was screaming with joy'

While the Kapoor family is one of the most well-knownfamily in the industry with a lineage of some of the best actors of Indian cinema, education and academics hasn’t always been a forte. Ranbir Kapoor had once joked about it. During one of his appearances on ‘Koffee Ranbir Kapoor shared a humorous anecdote about why he considers himself the most educated member of the Kapoor family. Recalling his Class 10 board exam results, the actor revealed that his family celebrated the occasion with great enthusiasm because he became the first Kapoor boy to clear the exam without repeating a year.Host and filmmaker Karan Johar asked Ranbir, “Are you the first Kapoor boy who passed without failing a year?”The actor then looked back at the day his results were announced. At the time, he was in the United States assisting his late father, Rishi Kapoor, on the sets of ‘Aa Ab Laut Chalen’, which Rishi had directed. Meanwhile, his mother, Neetu Kapoor, had gone to collect his results in India. “I was in America, and I was assisting my father on a film he was directing, “Aa Ab Laut Chalen”, and my mom went to take my results. I think Ayesha only called up my mom and said that, “Aunty, Ranbir’s got 54.3 percentage”. And my mom was screaming with joy. Like, there was a party thrown for me out there. My dadi had tears in her eyes that it’s the first Kapoor boy who’s passed the 10th standard without failing a year. So it was like a big event, you know. I’m the most educated in my family.”Ranbir’s candid recollection has often amused fans, especially his tongue-in-cheek remark about being the “most educated” Kapoor despite scoring 54.3 percent in his board examinations. On the work front, Ranbir Kapoor will next be seen alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in Love & War, directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali. He also headlines Ramayana, director Nitesh Tiwari’s ambitious mythological epic. Ranbir will portray Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi plays Mata Sita, Yash essays Ravana, Sunny Deol stars as Hanuman, and Ravi Dubey plays Lakshman. Go to Source
