Jumpin Heights launches Valley Rope jump in Rishikesh

Jumpin Heights has launched the Valley Rope Jump in Rishikesh, adding a new high-adrenaline experience to India’s adventure tourism offerings. The activity has been introduced at the Mohanchatti valley, a location known for its natural terrain and proximity to key tourist hubs.

The Valley Rope Jump combines a freefall element with a subsequent high-speed swing across the valley, offering participants an immersive experience designed to align with international adventure tourism formats. The activity is structured using seat and chest harness systems connected to engineered wire ropes, enabling participants to jump from a cliff-edge platform under controlled conditions.

The experience is available in both solo and tandem formats. The tandem option allows two participants within a defined weight range, while the solo format includes a recognition element designed to enhance engagement.

The launch comes amid increasing interest in experiential and adventure-led travel in India, with destinations such as Rishikesh emerging as key hubs for outdoor and high-intensity activities. By introducing a new format, Jumpin Heights aims to strengthen its position in the segment and attract both domestic and international travellers.

Niharika Nigam, Managing Director, Jumpin Heights, said, “We have been extremely selective about introducing new experiences. It took us over a decade to conceptualise something that could truly raise the bar. The Valley Rope Jump is not just another activity it is designed to be one of the most extreme and technically advanced adventure experiences in India, aligning with global standards while showcasing the natural beauty of Rishikesh.”

The Mohanchatti site, located approximately 45 minutes from Lakshman Jhula, provides a natural setting that supports adventure tourism activities. The company stated that operations are managed by trained professionals and supported by multiple safety systems in line with international standards.

The introduction of the Valley Rope Jump reflects broader trends in India’s tourism sector, where demand for differentiated, experience-led travel continues to grow.
