Trouble in paradise?

The spotlight turned to Lively and Reynolds’ marriage with rumour mills abuzz with speculation that there may be trouble in paradise. Netizens following the couple noticed unusual social media activity around Lively’s recent birthday. The Gossip Girl alum turned 38 on August 25, but fans were quick to point out that Reynolds did not post a public birthday tribute to his wife. The actor has often taken to the ‘Gram to post some tongue-in-cheek birthday messages over the years, that had fans gushing over their bond. However, many noted that there was stoic silence between the two this birthday.

The buzz online stated that Reynolds had not shared a Mother’s day post for Lively early this year. The buzz only intensified after the actor didn’t share a post on her birthday, either. Some noted that the actor had not shared any new post about Lively all of 2025, and to see their pictures together, fans would need to scroll back to 2024 and earlier.

Netizens speculate upcoming divorce announcement

The speculation intensified after YouTuber Daily Dose of Dana posted a video highlighting the lack of recent mentions of Lively on Reynolds’ feed. “Am I making this up, or is this real?” Dana asked viewers, inviting them to comment on her post.“Doesn’t matter what the reason is, it looks terrible on him deleting her,” wrote one user, while another quipped, “Don’t be suspicious, don’t be suspicious… or just be very, very sus.” Others speculated about the possibility of a separation, with one fan commenting: “So what are the odds on their divorce?” Both have kept a notably low profile in recent months, coinciding with Lively’s ongoing legal feud withJustin Baldoni, whom she accused of harassment and orchestrating a campaign late last year.
