The film ended its fourth Sunday (Day 25) with an early estimated collection of Rs 14.75 crore net and a gross total haul of Rs 17.68 crore, according to a report on Sacnilk. Driven by strong word-of-mouth and a lack of major competition, the action sequel has defied typical late-run fatigue. Audiences continue to flock to theaters, solidifying its status as a certified blockbuster. In just 3 days, ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has already made its way to the top 5 list of the highest-earning week 4 collections. With a total of Rs 35.25 crore, it beat ‘Jawan’ (Rs 34.53 crore) to claim the fifth spot. It will be interesting to see if the film can beat out the collections of films like ‘Stree 2’ (Rs 36.10 crore), ‘Chhaava’ (Rs 44.15 crore) and ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ (Rs 53.75 crore) in the days ahead. It would have to rake in draw in big numbers during the week for a chance to outperfom its own record set with ‘Dhurandhar’ that currently occupies the top spot with a total of Rs 106.50 crore.

The film has become the first Bollywood film to reach Rs 1,700 crore worldwide in Phase 1 in a record-breaking 25 days, without a Gulf release.This achievement places it in a league of its own, especially when compared to recent pan-Indian titans like ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ and ‘Baahubali 2: The Conclusion’. While those films recorded staggering numbers, they were Telugu-original productions where the Hindi dub served as a secondary revenue stream. In the case of ‘Dhurandhar 2’, the primary Hindi market acted as the central engine, accounting for a massive share of the Rs 1,068.92 crore total India net collection.

While ‘Dhurandhar 2’ has surpassed the Rs 1,700 crore mark, the film has yet to cross the Rs 1,742 crore lifetime gross of ‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’. with just an estimated Rs 30 crore difference, the film can most likely make it past the benchmar in the coming days, thus enabling it to take up the third spot on the list of the highest earning Indian films of all time.
