Streaming star Tyler “Ninja” Blevins has announced that he is taking an indefinite break from streaming. The decision comes after growing frustration with cheating issues in Arc Raiders. Once one of the game’s most active and popular streamers, Ninja said the current state of the game has made it difficult for him to continue playing or creating content around it.The problem mainly comes from hackers and stream snipers who are targeting players, especially high-profile streamers like Ninja. Many players have also complained online about unfair gameplay, saying that matches are becoming frustrating and hard to enjoy. Despite multiple responses from Embark Studios, the issue has not been fully fixed, pushing even dedicated players away from the game.

Ninja takes break as Arc Raiders becomes “literally unplayable” due to hackers

During his April 8 Twitch stream, Ninja clearly explained why he is stepping away. He said, “I’m not getting on Arc, and I’m not playing anything else other than League. So if I get on, it’s gonna be League, or a sports show. I’m not even joking… I’m taking a break.” His words showed how serious the situation has become for him. Ninja also shared how much he used to enjoy the game before things got worse. “Arc was sustaining me like crazy. It was a blast. And then the cheating and the updates… the stream sniping-cheating just sent me over the edge. It makes the game literally unplayable,” he added. According to him, hackers using his stream to track his location made it impossible to compete fairly.Since early 2026, the cheating phenomenon in Arc Raiders has become a hot topic among gamers. There have been several accounts of players having almost identical experiences, especially in high-leveled games. Some content creators and their followers feel that Embark Studios should move faster in implementing an anti-cheating system.Despite the studio’s promise of taking action on the matter, as well as the refunding of people who have lost some of their in-game resources because of hackers, this issue still persists. Players’ confidence and enthusiasm for the game continue to decline as a consequence. To conclude, it can be said that the incident with Ninja is one of many issues within the game Arc Raiders. If the cheating issue is not addressed soon, it may affect the future of the game.
