I even tweeted about it,” he said.He added, “I’ve read those claims, but I wouldn’t call it propaganda. A film is a film — it has entertainment, it has grip.”

Calls Aditya Dhar a ‘role model’ filmmaker, praises Shah Rukh Khan

Praising the film’s director, Sinha said, “I believe Aditya Dhar has emerged as a role model today. Such a fine director, such a well-made film — we haven’t seen such engaging cinema in a long time.”When asked to pick his favourite among films like Dhurandhar, Pathaan, Ek Tha Tiger, and Dhurandhar 2, Sinha said, “Dhurandhar, I liked it very much.”He added, “And Pathaan — Shah Rukh Khan is a national icon. Of course I like his films, but I haven’t watched Pathaan.” Reaffirming his view, he said, “Dhurandhar was very good. I really liked it.”

When asked about those opposing Dhurandhar 2, Sinha chose to hold back his opinion for now.“I’ll say something after I watch it,” he said.Even when pressed further, he replied in his trademark style, “If you want me to say ‘Khamosh,’ I won’t say it right now. I’ll say it after watching the film.”Addressing criticism of the first film, Sinha remained firm.“No, no — I’ve already praised Dhurandhar 1. Once I’ve praised it, that’s the end of the matter,” he said.

Meanwhile, Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge is enjoying a dream run in theatres.
