Hyundai Motor on Thursday said it would seek to more ‌than double its China sales in the medium term and it planned to launch 36 new models in the North American market by 2030.

At its annual shareholder meeting, Hyundai Motor CEO Jose Munoz said the ‌South Korean automaker aims to sell 500,000 vehicles annually in China as part of its medium-term efforts, which would be more than double its current volumes.
