The New Brezza will come with six airbags as standard across all variants, along with ESP with Hill Hold Assist, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with EBD and ISOFIX child seat anchorages.Maruti Suzuki India’s upcoming New Brezza on Thursday received a 5-star safety rating in both Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) and Child Occupant Protection (COP) under the Bharat New Car Assessment Program (Bharat NCAP), ahead of its launch on July 24.
The certification marks Maruti Suzuki’s fifth consecutive 5-star rating under Bharat NCAP and strengthens its portfolio of safety-rated models, which includes the Dzire, VICTORIS, Invicto and e VITARA.
The New Brezza will come with six airbags as standard across all variants, along with Electronic Stability Program (ESP) with Hill Hold Assist, Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) with Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) and ISOFIX child seat anchorages.
The compact SUV will also feature advanced active safety technologies, including Blind Spot Warning with Lane Change Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Front Parking Sensors, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), Emergency Stop Signal and Safe Exit Warning. Other safety features include a 360-degree view camera, reverse parking sensors, rear parking camera and rear defogger and wiper.
The vehicle’s body structure uses ultra-high-tensile and high-tensile-strength steel, aimed at enhancing occupant protection.

He added that safety is at the core of the company’s vehicle design philosophy, noting that six airbags are now standard across 16 models and 160 variants.
The New Brezza is scheduled to be launched in India on July 24.
