Posting it to social media, they called him the “weenie of the week”, which resulted in Matthews sharing her opinions about the matter online. In the comment section under the post, she wrote, “I hate this.” The couple had announced that the split was mutual and that it was supposed to happen. They announced it on the 9th episode of ‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ season 4, sharing, “Jace and I stayed up all night talking about the pros and the cons of separating. Between all of the MomTok drama and the pressure that I feel to get my marriage in a good place, I’m definitely reaching a breaking point. We both agreed to do a separation.”
