The ongoing Middle East conflict has entered a critical phase as Donald Trump issued a strong warning to Iran following its attack on a gas facility in Qatar. Trump stated that any further attack on Qatar would lead to massive destruction inside Iran, even threatening to target the South Pars gas field. The situation escalated after Israel struck Iran’s South Pars gas field on March 18. The United States has distanced itself from the strike, claiming it had no prior knowledge and assuring that Israel will avoid targeting gas infrastructure in the future. However, Iran retaliated strongly by attacking key oil and gas facilities across the Gulf, including in Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Qatar. Earlier strikes also targeted Iran’s Bushehr nuclear plant and Kharg Island oil export hub, highlighting a pattern of strategic attacks. Experts warn that this escalation could disrupt global energy supplies and push oil prices sharply higher. Countries like India may face economic pressure as the conflict risks expanding into a broader global crisis.
