Dakota Mortensen on the ongoing domestic assault investigation

Dakota Mortensen talks about ‘Mormon Wives’ ex-Taylor Frankie Paul and the ongoing alleged assault case

In a surprising twist, reality TV stars Taylor Frankie Paul and Dakota Mortensen find themselves in the midst of a domestic abuse inquiry. Mortensen, via his lawyer, stressed that their son’s welfare is paramount, firmly denying any unauthorized disclosure of case specifics. Meanwhile, Paul has confirmed that the two are currently estranged, with intermediaries overseeing their communications.

‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ Taylor Frankie Paul and her ex, Dakota Mortensen, made the headlines a few days earlier as it was revealed to the public that the two are involved in an active domestic assault investigation. Now, days later, Mortensen has officially issued his statement about the matter.

Dakota Mortensen reveals he was not the person who revealed details of the case to the public

Days after it was reported that the reality TV star and her ex-partner were involved in an ongoing investigation, Mortensen is finally sharing some details from his end. First, while talking to Entertainment Weekly through a legal rep, he stated that their son, Ever, is the top priority amid the ongoing case. The statement further read, “He knew there was a possibility it could come out, but he was not going to be the one to proactively do that because he has always wanted a decent relationship with Taylor. It’s been really hard to achieve that, but he wants to co-parent well.”Earlier on, Paul also opened up about the situation. While talking to the above portal, she revealed that the two have no contact as of right now. Not only that, but the ‘The Bachelorette’ star also clarified that everything is being handled by third parties, and that she “took action” only a few weeks ago.

More about the case

PEOPLE reported earlier this week that an open domestic assault investigation was under the authority of the Draper City Police Department. They also confirmed that the ‘Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ star, along with her ex, was involved. As per the report, it was also revealed that the allegations had been made both ways.
