Ever since Ranveer Singh’s ‘Dhurandhar’ was released in December 2025, there has been an undying buzz around the sequel. Finally, on March 18, 2026, with the paid preview shows of ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge,’ the audience was served a dose of much-awaited action, drama, and complete entertainment. The movie was expected to have a massive opening, just like the first part. Interestingly, it roared even louder with just the preview shows. ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ collected Rs 44 crore net in India, according to Sacnilk, from its paid preview shows, released on March 18, 2026. With 12,292 shows across India, the net collection of the Aditya Dhar film stands at Rs 44 crore so far. Further, it recorded gross collections of Rs 52.71 crore. However, this number is prone to change, as at the last moment several shows were delayed and cancelled, the refunds of which will impact the final figures.

Nevertheless, so far, with a paid preview, collections have crossed a staggering 50 crore gross in all versions, which has helped ‘Dhurandhar 2’ earn the title of having the biggest premiere performance ever recorded in India. In Bollywood, the horror comedy ‘Stree 2’ made a record by earning more than 10 crore in its preview shows. Now, ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’ has set a new benchmark for the industry.

There were delays in the screening throughout India, and several South language shows were even cancelled at the last moment owing to technical difficulties. Addressing the issue, Aditya Dhar issued a note on his social media handle that read, “To our dear Dhurandhar family, Dhurandhar is not just a film for us—it is something we have lived with, nurtured, and dreamed of sharing with every one of you, together, at the same moment, in every language.” “Most of our Hindi shows across India are running as scheduled from 5 pm onwards. All of our Tamil and Telugu shows will commence from 9 pm onward,” he wrote before adding, “However, due to unforeseen technical difficulties, our Malayalam and Kannada shows will begin from tomorrow morning. If the dubbed version you have tickets for is not currently playing at your cinema, you will have an option for a refund or to watch the Hindi version with subtitles instead.”“We truly apologize for the inconvenience.
