‘Dharman’ new poster unveils Rajinikanth’s deadly doctor avatar

'Dharman’ new poster unveils Rajinikanth's deadly doctor avatar, shoot begins as ‘Ketta Paiyan Sir’ vibe takes over

The makers of ‘Dharman’ unveiled a striking new poster featuring Rajinikanth while officially announcing the start of shooting. Released shortly after the title reveal and first-look launch, the poster showcases the Superstar in a stylish doctor avatar wearing sunglasses and carrying a blood-stained coat over his shoulder. Rajinikanth looks suave and dangerous, surrounded by surgical tools and weapons, matching the ‘Deadly Doctor’ concept of the movie perfectly. This impressive look has already won over many fans and made the most anticipated project of Tamil cinema more hyped than ever before.

‘Ketta Paiyan Sir’ vibe takes centre stage

The poster arrived with the caption, “Swag is his Signature #KettaPaiyanSir #Dharman Shoot Begins,” reinforcing the idea that Rajinikanth plays a cool but deadly character in the movie. The mention of the famous “Ketta Paiyan Sir Avan” line has already become a trademark of this movie. Earlier, the BTS video released by the makers also used the famous line while showcasing the creation of the first-look poster. Combined with the dark visual tone and Rajinikanth’s commanding screen presence, the latest poster hints that ‘Dharman’ could feature one of the actor’s most swagger-filled characters in recent years. The official announcement that shooting has commenced today has added even more excitement to the project.

BTS video and first look continue to build hype

Ahead of the latest poster, the makers had released a behind-the-scenes video showing how Rajinikanth’s first look was conceptualised and photographed. The BTS footage gave fans a glimpse into the planning, styling, and execution behind the now-viral poster. Rajinikanth appeared as a surgeon in an operation theater wearing a doctor’s outfit and wielding a very sharp scalpel. Director Aswath Marimuthu’s attention to detail and presentation were much appreciated by the fans, whereas the teaser generated a lot of buzz on social media. Together, the title announcement, BTS video, and latest poster have successfully built strong anticipation around the film.

‘Dharman’ shoot begins

Directed by Ashwath Marimuthu and produced by Kamal Haasan, ‘Dharman’ features Rajinikanth in the lead role alongside Simran, Raashi Khanna, and Yogi Babu. Music is composed by Anirudh Ravichander, while the celebrated stunt duo Anbarivu are handling the action sequences. Cinematography is by Niketh Bommireddy, with Pradeep E. Ragav handling editing duties. With cameras officially rolling from today and promotional material already creating significant buzz, ‘Dharman’ has firmly established itself as one of the most-awaited Tamil films currently in production.
