After being jostled, she boldly addressed the situation, asserting her unwillingness to accept disrespectful behavior.

Teyana Taylor addressed a backstage clash with a security guard after the 2026 Oscars, saying she does not accept “disrespect” after a tense moment caught on video spread online. The incident happened after ‘One Battle After Another’ won Best Picture at the March 15 ceremony at the Dolby Theatre. Video circulating after the show appeared to capture Taylor confronting a man she said had shoved her while people moved around the stage area. Taylor later said she was fine, but made clear that the contact crossed a line for her.

Do not touch me. Do not push me.” In another line reported across outlets, she says, “You’re a man putting your hands on a female.” The video showed her visibly upset as people around her tried to calm the situation.
