Police have charged four men and seized more than $2.3 million worth of suspected fentanyl as part of a major drug trafficking investigation that stretched from the Greater Toronto Area to Alberta.According to a police news release, the investigation is known as Project OLLIE. It began in May 2025 when the Ontario police launched an intelligence‑led probe into a network suspected of moving fentanyl between the GTA and Calgary.Officers executed a search warrant on February 10 at a home in Brampton. Investigators say the search uncovered about 18 kilograms of suspected fentanyl, an amount equal to roughly 180,000 potentially lethal doses, along with three cellphones.

As a result of the probe, 20‑year‑old Navjot Singh of Brampton was arrested and charged with multiple offences. These include conspiracy to commit indictable offences involving trafficking firearms and fentanyl, three counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, and three counts of trafficking fentanyl.Police said Navjot Singh was remanded into custody following a bail hearing and is due to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brampton on March 6. On the same day, 23‑year‑old Attarvir Singh of Calgary was arrested in Winnipeg. He faces charges of conspiracy to commit trafficking fentanyl, three counts of possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, three counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl, and three counts of trafficking fentanyl.Police say Attarvir Singh was remanded into custody and was scheduled to appear in court in Brampton on March 4.On February 24, 21‑year‑old Balwinder Singh of Calgary was arrested. He has been charged with conspiracy to commit trafficking fentanyl, trafficking fentanyl, possession for the purpose of trafficking fentanyl, and possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000. He was remanded into custody following a bail hearing and is also set to appear in court in Brampton on March 6.A Canada‑wide warrant has been issued for 21‑year‑old Manpreet Singh, also of Calgary. He is wanted on charges including conspiracy to commit trafficking firearms, conspiracy to commit trafficking fentanyl, and four counts of trafficking fentanyl.
