‘Salman Khan only eats home food’: Actor’s fitness trainer

'Salman Khan only eats home food': When the actor's fitness trainer revealed his diet, adding 'biryani is his cheat meal'

Salman Khan attributes his remarkable fitness to wholesome meals crafted by his mother. Emphasizing moderation, his typical day includes nourishing porridge, protein-rich eggs, vibrant fruits, and lean meats. When gearing up for intense action scenes, he strategically cuts back on calories, yet he always looks forward to a weekly biryani treat that keeps his spirit and body in top form.

Superstar Salman Khan is not just known for his acting and charming personality but has also been an icon of fitness for all the Indians. For decades, fans have admired the actor’s fitness levels and wondered what keeps him in such remarkable shape. However, the secret behind the actor’s physique is nothing but balanced home-cooked food. Let’s take a look at what his fitness trainer Rakkesh R. Uddiyar once said about the actor’s diet.

Salman Khan shares his philosophy about food

According to the Moneycontrol report, Salman Khan had said, “I’ll eat anything but won’t overeat. Like, say, one spoon rice or at max one and a half, whatever vegetables, then chicken or mutton or fish.” This straightforward rule-eat everything but in moderation-has remained a cornerstone of the actor’s lifestyle over the years.

Salman Khan prefers home-cooked meals

According to trainer Rakkesh R Uddiyar, the superstar’s eating habits are deeply rooted in family traditions. Even though he is a global star, he prefers food cooked at home, especially by his mother, Salma Khan. Rakkesh revealed, “He only eats home food, cooked by his mother. No matter what food you bring him, he would say, ‘Ghar ka khana do. Mummy ne jo banaya wahi khana lagao. Wahi khaunga (Give me home-cooked food. I will eat what my mother has prepared).'”

Salman Khan’s daily diet routine

Rakkesh R Uddiyar revealed that Salman Khan follows a structured meal pattern instead of depending on severe restrictions. He said, “In the morning, he has porridge, eggs, and fruits. In the afternoon, he eats home-cooked food, either fish or chicken.”The trainer further added that vegetables and salads are always an essential part of the actor’s meals. The trainer also explained that Salman takes a smaller amount of rice and prefers more vegetables.

Salman Khan’s diet adjustments for action roles

Rakkesh shared that when the actor is preparing for physically demanding action scenes, he goes on a stricter diet routine. He said, “When preparing for an action scene, he starts reducing his food intake two months in advance. Once the shoot is done, he returns to his normal diet. There is no particular diet plan. He is a healthy-eating guy.”

Salman Khan loves biryani

The fitness trainer also revealed that Salman Khan has his cheat days as well. He shared that the actor loves to have a cheat meal once a week, without exceeding the calorie intake of 2000.He said, “Biryani remains Salman’s favorite cheat meal,” adding, “Birthdays and all mein toh chalta hai.”
