The Shahenshah of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan recently shared fresh pictures from a shoot schedule along with a reflective message on work and self-respect, days after reports claiming that he had been hospitalised surfaced online. The actor’s latest post reassured fans, as he appeared to be back at work soon after the health-related buzz.Taking to his personal blog, the legendary actor posted glimpses from his work commitments and wrote, “… work work work .. and work more ..work be the language extempore ..… work that which .. conveys .. growth fulment and self respect (sic).”

Amitabh Bachchan’s hospitalisation reports sparked concern among fans

The update comes nearly five days after speculation regarding Amitabh Bachchan’s health began circulating on social media platforms. Reports had earlier claimed that the actor was admitted to the VIP wing of Nanavati Hospital on May 16 due to stomach-related issues. However, later updates suggested that the actor had only undergone a routine medical examination and was discharged shortly after the check-up. Reports further stated that he had returned home following the assessment.While the actor himself did not directly address the rumours, his latest work-related post appears to have put concerns surrounding his health to rest.

Big B’s cryptic poem caught attention online

A day after the hospitalisation rumours gained momentum, Amitabh Bachchan had shared a cryptic late-night blog entry filled with poetry and spiritual references. Beginning the post with lines from the ‘Ramcharitmanas’, he wrote, “Mangal Bhavan Amangal Haari.”The actor later added a quirky poem that read, “Cheel jab hove shaant toh bhaiya, tote bolan shuru karein. Ir bir fatte, kahan ‘chal hamau’, pilave shuru karein!!!! Bajre di roti kha di, phoo padiyon da saag re. Munh mein daalan laage jaise, bolan laage kaag re!!!!! Ek rahe ‘Hill’ bhaiya ki padhai ka darpan; Aur doosar Wellington ki yaad!!” He concluded the note with the words, “Love, Prayers and more.”The post quickly drew attention from fans, many of whom interpreted it as a subtle response to the rumours surrounding his health.

Amitabh Bachchan’s upcoming projects

On the professional front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in ‘Vettaiyan’, directed by T. J. Gnanavel. The film featured an ensemble cast including Rajinikanth, Fahadh Faasil, Rana Daggubati, Manju Warrier and others. The actor is also associated with Nag Ashwin’s ambitious sci-fi project ‘Kalki 2898 AD’, co-starring Prabhas and Kamal Haasan.Apart from that, Amitabh Bachchan is reportedly expected to appear in Nitesh Tiwari’s upcoming epic drama ‘Ramayana: Part 1’, featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Yash and Sunny Deol.
