Pre-wedding festivities have begun in full swing ahead of cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar’s son Arjun Tendulkar’s wedding, and the celebrations are already turning into a glamorous, star-studded affair.On Tuesday evening, the Tendulkar family hosted a pre-wedding ceremony attended by close friends, cricketing icons and political dignitaries, adding sparkle to the joyous occasion.
The Tendulkars steal the spotlight
Sachin, along with wife Anjali Tendulkar, daughter Sara Tendulkar and groom-to-be Arjun, posed together for the media in elegant traditional outfits.Sachin opted for a bright green kurta-pyjama paired with a printed jacket, while Anjali chose a striking blue ensemble complemented by heavy jewellery. Sara looked radiant in a pink lehenga, adding a youthful glow to the family portrait.The soon-to-be bride, Saaniya Chandhok, arrived with her family and joined the Tendulkars for photographs. She chose a pastel lehenga, keeping her look soft and graceful for the evening.

Zaheer Khan, Yuvraj Singh, Harbhajan Singh among guests
The guest list read like a reunion of Indian cricket greats. Zaheer Khan attended the ceremony with his wife, actor Sagarika Ghatge, with the couple happily posing for the paparazzi.Harbhajan Singh was also spotted with wife Geeta Basra. Later in the evening, Irfan Pathan arrived with his wife, Sara Baig.Among other prominent guests were former India head coach Ravi Shastri, Yuvraj Singh and his wife Hazel Keech, Ajit Agarkar and his wife Fatima Ghadially, Yusuf Pathan and his wife Afreen Khan, filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra along with his wife Anupama Chopra and Shankar Mahadevan’s sons Siddharth and Shivam.Political presence was also notable, with Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) chief Raj Thackeray attending with his family.









Invitations extended to top political leaders
Earlier this year, Sachin and Anjali met Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde at his official residence, Nandanvan, in Mumbai to personally invite him to the wedding ceremony.The cricket icon has also reportedly extended invitations to President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha Rahul Gandhi.Arjun and Saaniya got engaged in August last year, and with the celebrations now underway, the wedding promises to be one of the most high-profile events of the year.
