Ammy Virk gets emotional as wife, six-year old daughter in UAE

Ammy Virk gets emotional as wife, six-year old daughter are in UAE amidst middle-east tensions: 'I'm a strong girl papa'

Amidst the middle-east tensions, celebs who were stranded in Dubai have expressed their concerns. Sonal Chauhan penned a note, seeking help from PM Narendra Modi as she’s stranded in Dubai and her flight got cancelled. Now, actor, singer Ammy Virk shared an emotional message on social media on Monday, expressing deep concern over the escalating US–Iran conflict as his wife and their six-year-old daughter are currently stranded in the UAE. In his note, Ammy spoke about the fear gripping him as a father and said his prayers are not limited to his own family, but extend to everyone impacted by the crisis.Though Ammy resides in Punjab, he wrote on Instagram that his wife and daughter are presently in the UAE. He expressed how the uncertainty has affected him emotionally and shared a heartbreaking conversation with his daughter. In his words, “The situation in the UAE has been weighing heavily on my heart. My wife and my 6 year old daughter are there, and as a husband and father, it’s impossible not to feel emotional and tense during times like this. “Papa I will hide under my bed if something happens. I’m a strong girl Papa don’t worry” is not what a father wants to hear. Every news update feels personal. No matter how strong we try to be in public life, at the end of the day we are family people.”

The ‘Bad Newz’ actor further added that while his concern for his family is overwhelming, he is equally mindful of others facing similar distress. He wrote, “At the same time, I know there are so many other families going through the same fear and anxiety. My prayers are not just for my loved ones, but for every single person affected. I also want to acknowledge and appreciate the efforts being made by the UAE authorities and the UAE government. From what I’m being told, they are working tirelessly to ensure people remain safe and supported during this time. For that, I am truly grateful. Let’s continue to pray for peace, stability, and the well-being of everyone there. May this phase pass soon, and may all families feel secure and protected.”Several Indian celebrities, including PV Sindhu, Vishnu Manchu, Sreeja Konidela and Esha Gupta apart from Sonal have taken to social media to share updates about being stuck in cities like Abu Dhabi and Dubai.
