Nissan Motor India reported consolidated sales of 10,565 units in February 2026, registering a 23 per cent year-on-year increase, supported by strong export demand.

Domestic wholesale sales stood at 2,230 units during the month, while exports accounted for 8,335 units, the company said on Monday.

The automaker said February marked an important transition phase as it prepares for the next stage of growth following the launch of the Nissan Gravite. Customer deliveries of the new model began on March 1 across India, following what the company described as strong booking momentum.

According to the company, the start of deliveries signals a new growth phase in the Indian market, supported by a product strategy aimed at local customer needs, expanding dealer engagement and a stronger market focus.

“February has been an important and forward-looking month for Nissan in India. Our consolidated performance reflects stable underlying demand and continued strength in exports, reaffirming India’s strategic importance in Nissan’s global operations,” said Saurabh Vatsa.

The company said exports continue to remain a key pillar of its India operations, contributing a significant share of the monthly volumes. India also plays an important role in the automaker’s global manufacturing and export strategy.

Nissan Motor India said its recent performance reflects a gradual market resurgence, supported by its product portfolio and export demand. The company continues to rely on the Nissan Magnite’s sales momentum, which has been a key volume driver since its launch.

The automaker said it will continue to focus on strengthening its network footprint and improving customer accessibility while expanding its presence in both domestic and international markets.
