Renault India on Sunday reported domestic wholesales of 3,495 units in February 2026, registering a 31 per cent year-on-year growth compared with 2,676 units in the same month last year.

The automaker said the strong performance helped it sustain growth momentum in the first two months of 2026, with cumulative sales rising 32 per cent compared with the corresponding period in 2025.

The company attributed the growth largely to strong demand for its refreshed product portfolio, particularly the Kiger and Triber models. Among the two, the Triber recorded a 57 per cent year-on-year increase in February, emerging as a key driver of the company’s monthly sales performance.

Renault India said the updated versions of the Kiger and Triber have helped improve brand perception in the market and supported consistent sales growth over the past few quarters.

The company has witnessed a gradual turnaround in performance since the third quarter of calendar year 2025. According to the automaker, it recorded a 9 per cent year-on-year growth in Q3 CY2025, followed by 27 per cent growth in Q4 CY2025. The upward trajectory has continued into 2026 with a 32 per cent increase in cumulative sales for the first two months of the year.

Renault India said renewed attention around its upcoming product plans has also contributed to improved showroom traffic. The company recently confirmed plans to bring back the Duster SUV to the Indian market, a move that has generated significant interest among customers and dealers.

According to the company, the announcement of the Duster’s return has helped boost consumer sentiment, leading to higher dealership footfalls across markets.

Renault Group has been working to strengthen its position in India by focusing on affordable SUVs and multi-purpose vehicles while gradually expanding its product portfolio.
