Bollywood showers love: Celebs cheer Parineeti Chopra & Raghav Chadha’s pregnancy reveal

Parineeti Chopra and husband Raghav Chadha are set to embrace parenthood. On Monday, the couple announced their pregnancy with a joint Instagram post, leaving fans and friends overjoyed. The duo shared a video of themselves holding hands, with the caption, “Our little universe on its way. Blessed beyond measure.”

As soon as the announcement went live, congratulatory messages flooded in. Leading the wishes was Parineeti’s cousin, global star Priyanka Chopra, who added a heart emoji and wrote, “Congratulations.” Actor Katrina Kaif too dropped three red hearts, while Ananya Panday gushed, “Awww congratulations Pari,” with cute emojis.Parineeti’s mother Reena Chopra wrote a heartfelt comment, “There is no bigger blessing than this! Love you guys! May God continue to shower his blessings on you always. Stay happy and blessed!”The comment section quickly turned into a celebration with messages from Neha Dhupia, Sunil Grover, Huma Qureshi, Sonam Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar, Anupam Kher, stylist Tanya Ghavri, Manish Malhotra and singer Kanika Kapoor, among many others. Sonam wrote, “Congratulations darling,” while Manish filled the post with red hearts.

A hint dropped earlier

Interestingly, the couple had already hinted at the good news during their recent appearance on The Great Indian Kapil Show. When Kapil Sharma teased them about family pressure to have kids, Raghav Chadha smiled and replied that they would be revealing the “good news” soon.Parineeti and Raghav tied the knot in September 2023 in a grand wedding ceremony at Udaipur. The event was attended by family members, close friends and several high-profile names from politics and cinema.According to reports, the couple is expected to welcome their first child either by the end of this year or early next year.
