J2hundred did not expect his football prank to end in handcuffs. But that is exactly what happened on February 22, 2026, in Tottenham, just hours before the North London derby between Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal. The Kick streamer was walking through the streets near the stadium wearing a red Arsenal shirt. Around him were Tottenham fans getting ready for the big match. Police officers were already present to control the crowd.At first, J2hundred appeared to be joking with supporters while streaming live. Some fans shouted back at him. A few threw drinks. Officers nearby were watching closely and taking notes. Moments later, after J2 shouted “Yid army,” the mood changed. An officer stepped in and said, “Can you nick him? He’s used the word ‘Yid army,’ which is illegal, so it’s a public order, let’s get him out of here.” He was then placed in handcuffs on camera.

J2hundred, who has more than 250,000 subscribers on YouTube, is known for street videos around London. His channel features music clips and public pranks. One of his most watched videos, “Trick or Treating with a Gang of Roadmen !,” has nearly four million views. Police had appeared in that video as well.On Sunday, his plan was simple. He and his friend Maciej walked around Tottenham wearing Arsenal jerseys to get reactions from rival fans before the Tottenham Hotspur versus Arsenal Premier League match. As expected, some Spurs fans reacted loudly. Police were already monitoring the area because derby matches can get tense.During the stream, J2 noticed an officer writing in a notebook and asked, “What notes are you taking down?” The officer replied, “I’m just writing stuff down.” J2 responded, “Well, it’s not like we’re doing anything.” The officer answered, “Well, you are.” The exchange seemed calm at that point.Things shifted when J2 shouted, “Yid army! Yid army!” Tottenham supporters have long used that phrase about their team. However, the word “Yid” is widely known as a slur against Jewish people. Because of that history, police treated the chant as a possible public order offense.As officers moved him away, J2 said, “Wait, Yid army is their team.” He later added, “I wasn’t trying to aggravate anyone, I don’t think it’s fair. If you’d asked me to leave, I would’ve left. I didn’t even know that was a racist chant. I’ve never heard that before. The last time I came to a Tottenham match, they were singing it, so I sang it as well.”After he was taken away, Maciej continued the stream briefly before it ended. Later, on Instagram Stories, Maciej wrote, “J2 is still in cells and has given me permission to post on his behalf. #FREEJ2.” As of now, there has been no confirmed public update about his release.
